PTA

At Higher Bebington Junior School, we are very lucky to have a hardworking PTA who, with the support of our school community, provide exciting events for the children and supports the school in providing items and activities for the children. Most recently this has included Chistmas and Summer Fairs, Halloween and summer discos as well as various non- uniform events.

The funds raised through parents/carers’ kind donations have paid for:

• Specialist days linked to the curriculum in each year group. Previously, this has included ‘Invaders Day’, ‘Ancient Greek Day’, and a Virtual Reality Experience.

• Specialist musicians and performers

• New ovens and cooking equipment to support our Design and Technology curriculum.

• Restocking the school library with up-to-date reads.

• Purchasing resources for indoor play and lunchtimes when the weather stop us from going outside.

• Donations towards the development of OPAL.
