Rights Respecting School

Higher Bebington Junior School is a Rights Respecting School (Silver Award) and we learn about children's rights through many different activities and subjects.  We aim to make sure that all children and adults know about and have an understanding of the United Nations Rights of the Child.

An important part of the work we are doing in school is to make sure that children are aware of their responsibilities in ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy their rights.  As part of this work, we aim to involve parents and carers as much as possible in learning about the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.  

Below is a link to some 'family activities which have been designed to encourage you and your child/ren to become more familiar with some of the rights. The activities have been chosen so they can be completed as a family.
